A little bat struggles to fit in only to learn to celebrate differences in this “darling book for all children but especially those with autism” (Kirkus Reviews, starred review) from Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor–winning author-illustrator Kaz Windness about starting school, making friends, and seeing what makes each person special.
Sparkle
Jasmine loves stories and wants to create her own! Unfortunately, when it comes time to read and write, she struggles. When her teacher asks the class to write a creative story, Jasmine decides to tell her story in her own way and creates a wordless story. A perfect book to introduce kids to the many ways we tell stories, Sparkle celebrates a neurodiverse child who thinks outside the box!
